Common questions
Do I need to fast before my blood test?
Yes — every package includes glucose, so fast from midnight the night before. Plain water is fine; no food, sugary drinks, tea, coffee, alcohol or chewing gum. Take prescribed medication as normal.
How long do my results take?
Starter, Bronze, Silver and Gold are reported within 72 working hours. Diamond and Platinum include specialist assays and take up to 5 working days.
Do I need a GP referral to book?
No referral needed. Book directly online above, or call 01257 676 001.
Will a clinician explain my results?
Yes. Every package includes a written report comparing each marker to reference ranges. If anything is flagged, a Ready Health clinician will contact you to arrange a follow-up consultation.
What's the real difference between Diamond and Platinum?
Diamond covers 95 markers including transferrin, magnesium, albumin and metabolic syndrome. Platinum adds 35 more — full sex hormone profile, immunoglobulins, H. pylori, pancreatic amylase and muscle/joint markers. Choose Platinum for the deepest hormone and immune profile.
