Who we are
Ready Health is the trading name of High Street Health Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15044189. Our registered office and clinic is at 22 High Street, Standish, Wigan WN6 0HL. You can contact us on 01257 676 001 or at mail@readyhealth.co.uk.
These terms and conditions apply to your use of our website (readyhealth.co.uk), to clinic services booked through it, and to products ordered from our online shop. By booking an appointment or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy and our Delivery & Returns policy.
Clinic services and appointments
Bookings
Appointments can be booked online, by telephone or at the clinic. All appointments are subject to clinician availability. We aim to see patients within 24 hours, but this is a service aim, not a guarantee.
Cancelling or rearranging an appointment
If you need to cancel or rearrange, please tell us as soon as possible by phone or email so the slot can be offered to another patient. Repeated missed appointments without notice may result in a cancellation fee or a request for prepayment for future bookings.
Memberships
Healthcare membership plans are billed monthly. The services included in each plan are described on our Memberships page, and full plan terms (including how to cancel your membership) are provided when you sign up and are available from the clinic on request.
Clinical care
All our clinicians are NHS-trained and registered with the GMC, NMC or GPhC as appropriate. Our services do not replace NHS emergency care. If you or someone else is seriously unwell, call 999 or attend A&E.
Online shop — test kits and health devices
Ordering
Our online shop sells at-home test kits (such as allergy, food intolerance and DNA tests) and health devices (such as health-tracking wearables). When you place an order you will receive an order confirmation by email; a contract is formed when we dispatch your order. Products are sold to UK customers aged 18 or over, and some test kits have additional eligibility requirements (for example minimum age, or unsuitability during pregnancy) which are stated on the product page.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken securely at the time of order. Where a promotional or reduced price is shown, the previous price shown is the price at which the product was genuinely offered before the promotion. If we discover a pricing error in an order you have placed, we will contact you before dispatch to give you the choice of paying the correct price or cancelling with a full refund.
Delivery
Standard UK delivery is free for test kits and devices. Orders are dispatched promptly and typically arrive within 2–3 working days by Royal Mail. Test kits include a prepaid freepost return envelope for your sample. We deliver within the United Kingdom only. Full details are in our Delivery & Returns policy.
Cancellations, returns and refunds
Your rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 apply to online orders, including a 14-day cancellation period for eligible products. For health and hygiene reasons, test kits cannot be returned once the hygiene seal has been broken, the kit has been used, or a sample has been taken. Devices must be returned unused, in their original packaging and in resaleable condition. To arrange a return, contact us by email (mail@readyhealth.co.uk) or phone (01257 676 001); refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 days of the day we receive the returned product. See our Delivery & Returns policy for the full process.
Faulty or incorrect items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, products must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If anything arrives damaged, faulty or not as ordered, contact us and we will arrange a replacement or a full refund, including any return postage. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Test results
Laboratory results from postal test kits are emailed to you, normally within 7 days of your sample arriving at the laboratory. Results are for guidance and screening purposes; they do not by themselves diagnose, treat or cure any condition and should be discussed with a clinician. You are welcome to book a results review appointment with our team.
Website content and medical information
Content on this website is provided for general information and does not constitute medical advice or create a clinician–patient relationship. Always seek the advice of a qualified clinician about any medical condition.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses — our services and products are supplied for private use.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please contact the clinic manager on 01257 676 001 or mail@readyhealth.co.uk and we will look into it promptly under our complaints procedure, a copy of which is available on request.
General
We may update these terms from time to time; the version published on this page at the time of your booking or order is the one that applies. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
