Why Ready Health

The only all-in-one ADHD medication service in the UK

Most private ADHD providers charge you for the appointment and then leave you to source and pay for your medication separately. We do it differently — and we do it nationwide.

One fee, not three

Consultation, prescription and one ADHD medication are all included in the £249 fee. No separate dispensing bills or surprise costs for a single medication.

Available UK-wide

Reviews are by secure video, so you can be anywhere in the UK. Your medication is delivered to your door — typically within a couple of days of payment.

Affordable, transparent care

A CQC-registered clinic with clear, fixed pricing. Book monthly or save with a package, and move to £49 repeat prescriptions once you're stable.

Crystal clear pricing

What the £249 covers — and what's charged separately

We're upfront about every cost. The set fee covers one ADHD medication in full. If your treatment needs more than that, your clinician will tell you before anything is prescribed.

Included in £249

For one ADHD medication, this is everything:

  • Your medication / titration review with the clinician
  • Your prescription, written and issued
  • One ADHD medication — a 28-day (one-month) supply
  • Delivery of that medication to your door, UK-wide
  • Generic (non-branded) medication where clinically suitable

Charged separately (if needed)

Only if clinically required — your clinician will confirm during your review:

  • A booster dose in addition to your main medication
  • Sleep medication, where clinically indicated
  • Any second ADHD medication beyond the one included
  • Branded medication where a generic isn't suitable

How it works

From booking to your door

A clear, NICE-aligned process — with safety and stability first.

1

Confirm your diagnosis

Book your review, or complete the switch questionnaire if you're coming from another provider. We confirm your ADHD diagnosis meets recognised standards before prescribing.

2

Your medication review

A 20+ minute appointment, online UK-wide or in person. Your clinician reviews your response, side effects and observations and decides the right medication and dose for you.

3

Prescription & medication

Your prescription is issued and one ADHD medication (a 28-day supply) is dispensed — generic where clinically suitable — all within the £249 fee.

4

Delivered to your door

Your medication is delivered to your home address anywhere in the UK, so there's nothing extra to arrange.

5

Ongoing reviews until stable

Monthly reviews continue until you're stable — usually within 4–6 months — then you move to £49 repeat prescriptions, with shared care support where possible.

What to expect

Most people are stable within 4–6 months

Titration is the process of finding the right medication and dose for you. Most people are stable and optimised within four to six months. You're considered stable once you've been on the same medication and dose for three consecutive months.

Once you're stable, you no longer need monthly reviews. You move to repeat prescriptions at £49, with a clinical review only if it's needed.

We actively promote shared care

Once you're stable, we support transferring your prescribing to your NHS GP under a shared care agreement (SCA). An SCA can significantly reduce your long-term costs — it's how good private ADHD care should work. We write to your GP after reviews to keep them informed, whether or not an SCA is in place.

The terms, in plain English

So there are no surprises, here's exactly what the service covers and how prescribing decisions are made.

  • The £249 fee covers the consultation, the prescription, one ADHD medication for a 28-day supply, and delivery to your door.
  • The medication supplied is decided by your clinician during your clinical review.
  • Non-branded (generic) medication is considered as a first-line treatment before branded medication.
  • If more than one medication is clinically required — for example a booster, sleep medication or any second medication — these are charged separately, and your clinician will confirm any additional cost during your review before prescribing.
  • A valid ADHD diagnosis and assessment is required; suitability is confirmed by our clinician before any medication is prescribed.
  • All prescribing is at the clinician's clinical discretion and in line with NICE guidance.

FAQs

Common questions

What is included in the £249 ADHD medication review fee?
Your £249 fee is all-inclusive. It covers your medication review (also known as a titration review) with our clinician, the writing of your prescription, one prescribed ADHD medication for a 28-day supply, and delivery of that medication to your door anywhere in the UK. It is one set fee with no hidden costs.
Is a medication review the same as ADHD titration?
Yes. A medication review and titration are the same process — the structured, gradual adjustment of your ADHD medication and dose to find what works best for you. The difference with Ready Health is that the consultation, the prescription and one ADHD medication are all bundled into a single set fee with delivery included.
Does the £249 fee cover more than one medication?
No. The £249 fee covers one ADHD medication only, for a 28-day supply. If additional medication is clinically required — for example a booster dose, sleep medication or any second medication — this is charged separately. Your clinician will confirm any additional costs with you during your review before anything is prescribed.
Will I be prescribed a branded or a generic medication?
Non-branded (generic) medication is considered as the first-line treatment before any branded medication. The decision on which medication is supplied is made by your clinician during your clinical review, based on what is clinically appropriate for you.
Can I book this from anywhere in the UK?
Yes. Reviews are carried out by secure video appointment, so you can book from anywhere in the UK and your prescribed ADHD medication is delivered directly to your door. You can also attend in person at our Standish, Wigan clinic if you prefer.
How much can I save by booking a package?
Booking a package costs less than paying month by month. The 4-month package is £949, saving you £51, and the 6-month package is £1,394, saving you £100. Packages suit the active titration phase, when reviews are usually monthly.
How long will I need medication reviews?
Most people are stable and optimised within four to six months. Once you have been on the same medication and dose for three consecutive months you are considered stable, and you move on to repeat prescriptions at £49 each — with no full review needed unless clinically indicated.
Do you support shared care with my NHS GP?
Yes, we actively promote shared care agreements. Once you are stable, we support transferring your prescribing to your NHS GP under a shared care agreement, which can significantly reduce your long-term costs. We write to your GP after reviews to keep them informed.
I'm titrating with another provider — can I switch to Ready Health?
Yes. If you are already receiving titration or medication management elsewhere, you can switch to us by completing our online questionnaire. We will need a copy of your ADHD assessment, copies of any medication you have previously been prescribed and, where possible, a discharge letter from your current provider. Once you have completed the form, a member of our team will be in touch to confirm next steps.
Do I need an ADHD diagnosis before booking?
Yes. To start medication reviews you need a formal ADHD diagnosis — from the NHS or a recognised private provider — based on a structured assessment using recognised tools such as DSM-5 or DIVA-5. We review your diagnostic report to confirm suitability before any medication is prescribed.
Is there anywhere else in the UK that includes your ADHD medication in the consultation fee?
We are not aware of another UK provider that bundles the consultation, the prescription and your ADHD medication into a single fixed fee with delivery included. Most providers charge for the appointment and then bill you separately for medication. With Ready Health, one £249 fee covers all three for one ADHD medication, delivered to your door anywhere in the UK.
Is my ADHD medication delivered to my home?
Yes. Once your clinician has prescribed your medication, it is dispensed and delivered to your door anywhere in the UK — there is no separate pharmacy trip to arrange. Delivery is included in your £249 fee.
