Why choose online

The benefits of an online ADHD assessment

A remote assessment gives you the same clinical rigour as visiting a clinic — with the flexibility, comfort and speed that fit real life.

Assess from anywhere

Join by secure video from home, work or anywhere in the UK — on a phone, tablet or computer. No travel, no time off, no waiting room.

Any time — 7 days a week

Appointments are available every day of the week, including evenings and weekends, so you can find a slot that fits around work, school and family.

No waiting list

Skip the long NHS waits. Book directly and be seen quickly — most people are assessed within days, not months or years.

Comfort of your own space

Being assessed somewhere familiar and relaxed helps you and your clinician get the clearest, most honest picture — especially for children.

Award-winning & CQC-registered

A 5-star rated, CQC-regulated clinic. The same clinical governance, safety and accountability as our in-person care — delivered remotely.

For adults, teens & children

One service for the whole family. We assess adults, teenagers and children from age 6 — all online, all UK-wide.

Not sure if it's ADHD? Take our free ADHD test first

If you have ever wondered “do I have ADHD?” or “how do I know if I have ADHD?”, our free online ADHD test is the easiest place to start. It uses the Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS-v1.1) Symptom Checker, developed with the World Health Organisation — 18 questions, about 3 minutes, with your result available immediately.

Use it as a quick adult ADHD test or, with a parent, as a starting point for a child — then decide whether to book a full online assessment.

✓ Free online ADHD test — no cost, no referral
✓ Full 18-question ASRS-v1.1 checklist
✓ About 3 minutes — instant result
✓ Works for adults & (with a parent) children
✓ A screening tool, not a diagnosis

The Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS-v1.1) Symptom Checklist is a recognised screening tool only. A positive screen does not confirm ADHD, and a negative one does not rule it out — only a full clinical assessment can give you an answer. Developed in conjunction with the World Health Organisation.

Working with the NHS

We actively promote NHS shared care

A private diagnosis shouldn't mean private costs forever. Once you're diagnosed and your medication is stable, we work towards transferring your ongoing care to the NHS wherever clinically appropriate.

  • After diagnosis and successful titration, we can request an NHS shared-care agreement with your GP
  • Your ADHD medication can then be prescribed and monitored on the NHS, keeping ongoing costs down
  • We provide your GP with the clinical letters and information they need
  • You stay supported by us throughout the handover

Why it matters

Shared care bridges fast private access with affordable, long-term NHS support — so you get assessed and treated quickly now, without committing to private prescription costs indefinitely.

Shared care is always at the discretion of your individual GP practice and is not guaranteed, but we'll always support the request.

We can also titrate

Start or continue ADHD medication — online

Diagnosis is only the first step. If you receive a diagnosis with us, or already hold a recognised one from the NHS or another provider, our online ADHD titration & medication management service can start, adjust and monitor your medication remotely — with NHS shared-care support.

Common questions

Online ADHD assessment FAQs

Are your ADHD assessments done fully online?
Yes. Our online ADHD assessments are carried out by secure video from anywhere in the UK. You join from home, work or wherever suits you, on a phone, tablet or computer — no travel and no clinic visit required.
How much does an online ADHD assessment cost?
An online adult (16+) ADHD assessment with report is £499, and an online assessment for children and teens (6+) with report is £649. Every assessment includes a full written diagnostic report, with no referral fees or hidden extras.
Do I need a GP referral to book online?
No. You can self-refer and book an online ADHD assessment directly, or book on behalf of your child as a parent. No GP referral is needed.
Who can have an online ADHD assessment?
We assess adults aged 16 and above, teenagers, and children from age 6, all online. A parent or guardian must be involved throughout for anyone under 18.
Is the online assessment as thorough as a face-to-face one?
Yes. Online assessments follow the same NICE-aligned clinical standards and use the same DIVA-5 and DSM-5 diagnostic criteria as our in-person service, carried out by the same specialist clinicians.
How quickly can I be seen and get my result?
Appointments are available 7 days a week with no NHS-style waiting list, so you can usually be seen quickly. A diagnosis is typically confirmed at the end of your appointment, with your full written report issued within 48 hours.
Can you titrate and manage ADHD medication online?
Yes. If you receive a diagnosis, or already hold one, our online ADHD titration and medication management service can start and adjust your medication remotely and monitor your progress.
Do you offer NHS shared care?
Yes. Where clinically appropriate, we actively support NHS shared-care arrangements, working with your NHS GP so your ongoing ADHD medication can be prescribed and monitored through the NHS after titration. Shared care is at the discretion of your individual GP practice.
What do I need for an online appointment?
A private space and a phone, tablet or computer with a camera and a stable internet connection. For children, school input questionnaires are emailed to you on booking to return beforehand.
Is there a free online ADHD test I can take first?
Yes. Ready Health offers a free online ADHD check using the Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS-v1.1) Symptom Checker, developed with the World Health Organisation. It takes a few minutes and gives an instant result, but it is a screening tool only, not a diagnosis.
