During the test a little of the allergen is introduced to your skin through a small prick to see it causes a contact reaction (allergic dermatitis). It’s usually done on the inside of your forearm and you’ll get your results in the same session.Reactions can take between 10-20 minutes to appear, and any redness or itching indicates a positive result for that allergen.
