Expert Clinicians

Our skilled clinicians and modern facility in Standish guarantee excellent care for your health needs.

We’ll run a full check on a range of markers specific to your biology, as well as looking at your overall health with things like checking your height, weight, BMI, pulse rate, oxygen saturations, temperature and blood pressure.

Depending on your results, our clinicians should be able to advice you on which areas to focus on to improve your overall health, or whether you’re in tip-top condition and to carry on as you are.

Full body MOT

Women’s health checks are sometimes called a full body MOT, and it’s true. Our bodies are the vehicles we drive through life, so it only makes sense to take care of them and give them a good service every so often to keep things as healthy as possible.

These kinds of checks aren’t available to everyone on the NHS, but can really help give you peace of mind or early intervention if you thing something might be wrong.

Women's health tests

When you come for your Women’s health MOT, your clinician will take some blood samples. This is to check specific markers related to your hormones. You should have different levels of these throughout your life, and low or high results could indicate an issue.

It’s especially important to think about a health check if you have issues with your menstrual cycle or you have a history of breast, womb, or ovarian cancer in your family. These blood tests can help detect early changes, or could help you find a treatment for troublesome symptoms.

Private female health screening

Because the NHS doesn’t offer well woman checks to all ages, many people find themselves looking for private options.

Thankfully, we’re right here in Wigan with a team of extraordinary practitioners who are ready to provide a full screening service.

Private well woman cost

We aim to offer affordable rates for private services to all our clients. While costs vary wildly across the UK, we always review our pricing to keep it in line with local standards while providing an outstanding service.

Good health is worth investing in, and with female health screenings taking just 30 minutes to complete, you could be on your way to a healthier you in no time.

Coil removal

Coil removal

The coil (or IUD) is a popular method of contraception for several reasons. Many women like that they don’t need to rely on taking a daily pill to prevent pregnancy, while others appreciate having the choice between a hormonal or copper IUD to control their cycle.
